The real estate industry is the largest employer, is the largest contributor to the GDP and touches every other industry in NYC. Our city’s economic recovery then begins and ends with our industry but historically building design, construction and operations have been slow to incorporate technology. With the advent of city-wide data collection, this dynamic is changing and there are incredible opportunities to reimagine real estate and also transform how our city lives, works and plays. Learn from venture capital industry veterans about how they evaluate startup ideas, what they have invested in recently and where they encourage you to look to build your own transformative technology business related to the built environment.
